The Santeetlah Canoe Club & Marina is strategically located between
Santeetlah Lakeside and the Santeetlah Marina. The Canoe Club will
provide the lake access component to all of the Great Camps projects in
Graham County. The site is an assemblage of nearly three acres and
includes the remaining future expansion of the marina(72 boat slips).
The Canoe Club is a key amenity to the Great Camps of the Smokies, providing lake access and opportunities for motor boating, fishing, swimming, lake camping, and other lake-related activities to the residents and their guests. In addition, the Canoe Club will provide a restaurant facility for fine lakeside dining.
The renovated Santeetlah Marina, adjacent to the Canoe Club will provide boat rentals, gas sales, bait and tackle, camping supplies, a convenience store, and a fully stocked outfitters store, including lake and fly fishing guides and other outdoor adventures.
Future plans call for the development of up to ten lakefront town-homes at the Canoe Club location.
